Joseph Amodeo Nature Photography's mission is to promote awareness for environmental and wildlife conservation, using science-based education, and to promote outdoor recreation with the beauty of nature through photography.
The work from Joseph Amodeo Nature Photography has been showcased at the Carolina Raptor Center located in Charlotte, North Carolina, with several photos used for exhibitions, products, events, and aviaries of the current bird ambassadors of the Carolina Raptor Center. In addition, photos from Joseph Amodeo Nature Photography have also been showcased at the Charlotte Public Library during the library's photo theme "Birds of North Carolina" in 2016 and two photos shared on the global Facebook Page "Owl Pages" with over 1 million followers during 2015-2016.
As of 2018, the work from Joseph Amodeo Nature Photography has been displayed in traditional media outlets, such as the Charlotte Observer on the front cover as the front story issued on February 5, 2018, in addition to the same article published online. On February 6, 2018, a photo was used for Channel WCAX-3 in Vermont, depicting the Snowy Owl release on February 5, 2018.
